The Libertad Challenge Conceived by Bob Christoph of the Miami Beach Marina, this award recognizes the cumulative efforts of boats in the area billfish tournaments. The Challenge includes the Capt. Bob Lewis Billfish Challenge, the Florida Billfish Masters Tournament and the Yamaha Contender Miami Billfish Tournament.   The top three boats in the billfish division of each tournament receive a special acrylic and bronze Sailfish Libertad plaque. The boat with the highest overall number of sailfish releases between the three tournaments is the Grand Winner. The boat name of the Grand Winner is inscribed on the Sailfish Libertad Trophy. This magnificent bronze perpetual, created by Capt. Pierre Pierce, is on display at the Miami Beach Marina Dockmaster's Office.
